am i going mad. since i moved into this house i have seen two people and hear a baby crying. my daughter now has two imaginary friends with the names thomas and sammy she is only 3. what is going on

children are very sensative to the age of 7 and can pick up on spirit, check the history of your home, and you will find the connections of who you are seeing, also if this is unsettling you get a medium to help them on their way as they could be still stuck between here and the next world, you obviously are sensative and that is why you have witnessed this.

Get a search and survey which list all the home's occupants since it was sold ,usually has it listed back into the 17th century where the Holland Land Company owned much property back then where they purchased the land from the Indians.
They could be friendly spirits that have lingered there,and do not know they are deceased.
Hopefully there is good Karma in the household and not bad ,so as not to upset anything.
There is probably nothing you can do except move ,but I wouldn't let anyone know about it too much,because then you will have trouble selling your house.
Ask the former occupants if possible if anything strange has happened in the household. They may provide you with some interesting information. I wouldn't say too much because they might think you are a kook.

Evolution has honed the brain's ability to pick out faces and notice human voices. It was probably very useful as a survival trait to quickly pick out friend and foe and determine if someone was hiding from you.
Unfortunately, it is so good at doing this that we see faces and hear voices when they're not there. Look at any cloud, and you can probably pick out a face in it.
If you are scared, the brain goes into over-drive, trying to pick out faces and voices. So a scary house is likely to draw up such images.

I saw a person "of a ghostly nature" in my house once and my dad saw them too. They never came back though so didn't cause a problem. I'd be concerned and perhaps talk to your pastor about seeing if he can cast them out.

Looks like you have company..I live in an old house with many things going on in it. Not sure what advise to give you but i have learned to just live with it..They don't bother me much just scare the heck out of visitors when they come over. Seems the more people that come over the more active my house gets with them spirits. I don't even know how to get rid of them myself.

Could be ghosts. My friend is like the kid from 6th sense. See them everywhere. Personally saw one when I was a kid and my mum saw it too. Found out the story of the house and was a woman who dies there. Research the history of your house.

Sounds like spirits (demons) are there. Take the authority of Jesus (if you are a Christian believer) and cast them out.

Likely just some demons trying to make you thing that there are really ghost of the dead. Ignore them and they will go bother someone else more gullible.
