Any Electronic testers has specifications and it's scoped to operate within parameters of the design. It's stricted by the quality of components within the tester itself. If you want the tester to perform tighter tolerances, the cost of the product will increase due to increasing the restrictions by improved components or testing by regulations for scope of operation. Like - CSA, UL, NEC etc. rating governing agencies.
