Be yourself and have a conversation. relax. Remember, you are meeting this peron for the first time! the idea is to find out if you want to talk to this person any LONGER than 8 minutes! Ask what the ideal first date is. if you don't drink and she says drinks and dancing ask about a coffee bar. If she's willing to go for that, she may be an option because it sounds like she may only be a social drinker. they only exchange the information when the two parties decide the like each other. how it generally works is that one gender sits at a table, and the other gender does the walking. the guys will sit and then after 8 minutes, the girls will switch so they can talk to the guys. they'll give you a number a pen and a pad and if you like her, you write own her assigned number. if you both have written down each others at the end of the night you both get each others contact information. You may get lucky and you may not. the idea here is to MEET people. I've never done this but I've heard enough about it and read up on it online to know how it works. make sure to ask things that are super important to you without seeming overbearing or pushy. Be consistent with your questions or else it will be super hard to narrow your dates down. Eye contact and smiling if you like someone. It all goes so quickly!
