My boyfriend say he we,ll take me away for a weekend, i picked the place, we already sorted it out he said he would ring and book it, but i had told him id pay he said no he will, but he hasnt done anything about it yet its been two weeks now. also three weeks ago he said im gonna get you something nice, i asked for my fave parfume he never got it so i got it myself. still has'nt gotten me anything just buys himself stuff all the time. i dont care that he doesnt buy me things, i just feel let down when he says he will but doesnt. is he just being a lad, typical guy, r does he not give a **** bout me?

1st mistake, telling him you'd pay for the vaca when he already offered it. As forward and modern as I am, there are certain things that men should do for the women. One of those, and I may get totally blasted for this, is to take them away somewhere nice. This is part of the courting process. Just like taking you out to dinner. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't buy him gifts and take him out to dinner every now and again.
Now he says he'd get you something nice, you told him your fave perfume and he still hasn't come forward with it? Answer yourself this, when was the last time he took you out to a nice dinner and movie or to a show or something that you like to do? Sounds like he is stringing you along, telling you what you want to hear so that you will stay. Is that what you want?

I can't say that you are the world that revolves around him but some guy's do have trouble with this. I wouldn't ask if he has booked it yet, and when it comes time and you are ready to go and he says that he hasn't done it then you can unload on him and let him know that you don't appreciate that he says he is going to do something and doesn't. Be very clear about this but don't dwell on it.

Seems like he is making empty promises that he cant keep, or don't want to. Whats wrong with this guy is he really trying to give you a reason to let him go?... because only a fool would not realize that when you constantly do these things they become an irritation to the other person... i would actually sit down and discuss it with him seriously.

i think this guy isn't able to make you top priority. I had a bfriend like that once and i tried sweating it out after 3 years i decided i had enough. Guess what gal i found somebody much deserving of my time. Of course he isn't perfect but it's nothig to really complain about and he ensures he apologizes in way you just have to love him more for.

sorry about this. Some guys are jerks. He wants you to put out so he will keep telling you things that will make you think he's interested in you and loves you. This is what men who only care for their own needs do. If he cared for you he wouldn't want you to put out for his affection. He would just do things you like in return for the smile on his face. Broom him. There are others out there who will love you.
