If your thnking of attending this dreadful event for non- nyers please remember you will be coralled for over 18 hrs if you want to see the ball at all and unable to drink. If you want to be 15 blocks away, you dont need to be held for so long, but you wont see crap. Watch it on tv from a bar futher downtown.

1 Times Square. But you cant get near unless you are there at 10am, and once you are there and 'penned in' you cant leave.
