Looking for trails of not more than 3-5 miles, well-marked trails, not too much elevation change, for some nice relaxed and easy day-hiking. Suggestions please?

Hike from the Big Valley floor to the bridge below Vernal Falls. Do NOT hike the trail (Mist Trail) to the top of the falls if you want an easy hike, (it's stairs cut into the side of the mountainside).

Hike in the Big Valley to Mirror Lake. I think it's called the Mirror Lake Loop. Nice EASY walk :)

Just a walk along the roadway through the Valley would be a nice walk, and especially at this time of year... no crowds! ;)

Have a wonderful time!!

I would look to reserve a camping spot right away. They get booked far in advance. One thing I did while I was there, was climbing school. They rent you all the equipment that you will need, give you some basic instruction, then you climb some rocks and repel. Way way fun. the instructors are pretty cool and could probably give you good hiking trail tips.

There are several level trails right in the valley to some of the falls. Check this out

Just ask a guy at the park for help. They are extremely helpful and insightful.
