Is there any good books for ages 9 and up that has horses in it and the chapter books. I love horses so much but never petted a horse and never seen a horse close up. I also want a book that has kids that have special needs and kids in foster homes.
By the way i have a 4th grade reading level so that is why i like reading these lower level books, and they are more interesting to me.

Any books by Marguarite Henry such as King of the Wind, Misty of Chincoteague, The World's Wildest Horse Race, Black Gold, etc. Walter Farley books - the Black Stallion series. The Pony Pals series of books are easy to read and fun with many different types of children and situations.
