Interesting question. I would hope this would be true. I think every Christian has a special place in their hearts for the Jewish people

Christian believe Jesus is the Jewish Messiah (Christ in Greek). Acts 1:6 answers you question regarding the time of his return.
Jews on the other hand do not believe that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah. Any rabbinic student can tell you how Jesus fail to fulfill the scriptures dealing with the Jewish Messiah.
Basically, it comes down to belief. The four accounts claim that Jesus is the Messiah and whatever he fail to do, he will do on his return. You either believe this or not. Paul's Letter to the Hebrews makes the case, but it again depends on your belief.
The are two testaments in the Christian bible: The Old and the New. The Old Testament (Holy Scriptures) tell about the covenant between God and the Israelites. There are 613 commandments given to Israel, and you can see them followed by devote Jews. But this is only applicable to Jews.
The New Testament present a second covenant give to both Jews and non Jews (Gentiles). This covenant talks about the salvation given to all.
So where do you fit in? Jew or non Jew? And how does this affect your belief.

Jesus is the Messiah. According to the Bible he will be accepted by the Jews as the Messiah. Jesus will return before the start of the great tribulation and at the final battle. It is my belief that Moses will be resurrected to lead the 144,000---12,000 Jews from each tribe---against the Antichrist. All Jews will not be saved, as some TV preachers say, but neither will all Gentiles either.

I thought the Jews were looking for their Messiah to be king and save them from oppression. There will be 3 1/2 years of peace in the tribulation period, which will be broken. Then Jesus will come back in a short time to rule on earth for 1000 years. But Antichrist will be around then, too.

the bible does not specify a time for the return of Jesus.it only states that he will come back.the jews chose not to follow him the first time.they didnt like the way he came.they wanted someone who would overthrow the romans and free them from physical oppresion.they werent interested in the deeper matters of the heart.i dont think his second return will make them take him as the messiah,i think that many may come to realize that he really was who he said he was then, but it may be too late...
unlike our friend further up the page, the jews are not dumb people.they are Gods chosen people and he loves them with all his heart.they have suffered many things in the past 2000 years since Jesus walked on the earth...his heart is that they would realize who he is before it is too late...

I don't know where you get your information from, but it is all wrong.
The messiah will bring an era of peace. The Jesus character has been the result of more death and destruction than any other alleged "religious leader".
There is no place in the bible that says that the messiah will come back (Christians - your English language versions are all mistranslated). As far as Jews are concerned, Jesus, if he existed, was an apostate.

Jews by blood rejected God and Messiah. When Jesus will come, the Bible says, he will rule over the earth with jews (spiritual jews, not circumcized in flesh jews) read rev 14:1-3.

I fear for Judah, for in the last days the Antichrist will make peace with Israel, and there will be peace for a while, and the Antichrist will be seen as the messiah, and many will follow him of Judah!
