It gives you a good feeling, a feeling of satisfaction that someone needs you, some of us have a void in our life's. and filling that with good acts towards others is a great way of filling that. Knowing you can do for others , who can't do for themself is something I have always practiced and I feel like a million dollars has been paid back Just with a Thank You, or a smile.

Because it reflects the quality of our society. Pope John Paul II said that a society is measured by the quality of care that it gives its elderly citizens and the poor. In America, we do not do that as well as our European brother and sisters do. Americans have a problem with greed and self-centeredness. We look at the elderly and the poor as burdens to be written off, rather than as fellow citizens who need our love and help. May God save us from ourselves.

I feel that its a kama thing! what goes around, comes around. If u r nice 2 another then eventually the favour is returned. I also feel better about the person that I am, if I know that I have helped some1 elses day brighter!
