This is a guy who probably hasn't had an original idea in all his life. You can always judge a persons understanding by how detailed his responses on a subject are. I mean, even when somebody is speaking about a topic I know nothing about, I can still sense when a person knows what they are talking about. This guy just speaks with short generalizations "we will defeat the enemy, etc" "the spirit of the american people"

p.s. I tend to be more conservative than liberal, but even I am getting sick of this guy.

nah, I couldn't bring myself to vote for him. I couldn't vote for Al Bore or John Kerry either, I just had to stay home last election.

Buddha, yes its like the old saying "whos the more fool, the fool, or the fool who follows him?" Who said that? Oh yes, Obi Wan Kenobi.

Too many subjective statements here.

'Most powerful man on earth' is debatable (but possibly true in some senses.)

'Moron' is a personal assessment which I think you would find difficult to substantiate with real facts - and is the misuse of a technical (and outdated) psychological term, anyway.

What is embarassing (rather than insulting) is that you probably voted for him, perhaps.

"Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely." I agree that the more one sees of GWB's actions and comes to understand his motives, the more there is a distinct odor of rotting fish around the White Wash ... er ... House (in Washington).

I honestly don't believe him to be the most powerful man on earth. He might like to think it as well as some Americans but that's just not true. I do agree that he's a moron though. I can't believe in a country like America an idiot like him was voted to run it. I"m sure the majority of American citizens have a higher IQ than that guy. Hopefully the Americans will make a better decision in the next election.

Unfortunately nations tend to get the government they deserve! Most people couldn't be bothered to vote or to look closely at the issues and hey presto America ended up with the class bully as the leader of the pack!
Poor old Britain of course got the breathless"Look at me, I am so palpably innocent and lovable" Mr Tony Blair, so they can't talk either.

I suspect those who have died around the world because of both their posturing are the ones who feel the most insulted, but with the Bush family luck in full upswing, they can neither vote nor voice their anger at him!

It must be God's way of chastising this nation. We allowed this rightwing Neocon Coup d Etat back in 2000 to continue.
Starting with the farce of the Supreme Court appointing Bush to the presidency on up to now, what we have is a behind the scenes junta using Bush as a figurehead puppet, while they go ab out the business of accumulating wealth and power - while seeking to deprive us of our civil rights. Its the shadowy people behind Bush who manage him I fear most.
The decider can't act on his own. Lacking the intellectual capability, he is a con artist and front man. Ashamed?
No. Appalled. Yes.

Gaze upon the product of the new American Aristocracy! Put into power by his father's influence. Led by his second-in-command. Pushing an extremist agenda of intolerance, fiscal irresponsibility, and totalitarian obedience. Maybe oil-men really are just evil freaks after all...

Funny you should say that because right after the meeting that he had with Blair and Putin: I read a comment from a Russian newspaper: It said "George Bush is not an evil man - he is just stupid!"

I've been sick of Bush since he won the election with the votes from Florida where his brother just happens to be in office, coincidence? He is an idiot.

Insulting? Powerful?
The man who really has the power hides behind a puppet like your moron.
I find it insulting that such a really powerful man is afraid to show his own face and speak for himself.

I know what you mean I think. He's the first president I can recall (I'm mid 40s) where I 've had the distinct impression he's just the mouthpiece.
