the thing is shes a single mom and the babys dad is my best mate ,should i say anything or just let it go ?they split up over 2 years ago

If you are close friends I would advice against it. I dated my best friend many years ago, and it didn't work out! Thankfully my current man of 12 years is my lover and my best friend!

Is very difficult situation - You can ask your friend what he thinks about your idea - or not?.But probably more realistic is just go for her - be a man - you don't have to be worry, get second opinion or whatever you are responsible person - get who you love before is too late.

i would advice you to let it go,as you have said that her baby's dad is your mate.even though they are not in love again .if the baby is staying with the mom,its obviously the dad wants to see him/ her.how are you going to feel about this or how is your friend feel this?avoid the things that make you love her and find someone else to love without complications.

Be strong and hold onto her as a dear friend. if u persue anything you are going to hurt a lot of people and break up a family.

if you are really into her, you should just go ahead, but make it clear to your friend, make sure he's ok with it, otherwise it's going to be really messy and complicated later on.
