do a test, it has been known to become pregnant while on a period it all depends when the person ovulates i ovulate quite late in my cycle. if it turns up negative then wait a week and try again and if that dosent give you peace of mind go see a doc as there are other reasons for missing a period

It depends, just because she hasn't had her period in a week, doesn't mean she's pregnant. Some girls are just irregular when it comes to their period. Some girls have theirs about the same time every month. If her periods were regular, then she might be pregnant. If her periods are irregular, then take a test just to be sure. Goodluck!!!

Usually you need more than a week, but there is a new test on the market that can be done 5 days before her period.
I would suggest if you really really want to know, you buy the test.
