Yes, no liquids, creams etc except baby formula and small amounts of prescription medications. There are additional restrictions for flying to the US.

When I flew recently, I could take no liquids, creams, toothpaste, etc through the security check. I could buy things like that after the security and passport check, but there was a notice saying that if you were flying to America or Canada you could not buy water for the flight.
That, by the way, was a flight taking off from Manchester International Airport (UK).

As far as I know, the restrictions are still in effect. If things continue to go as they have been going, I would not be surprised if they make people strip all their clothes off, and put on a paper gown type garment before you are allowed to board their flight. The asinine things they do in the name of security.

Everywhere, as far as I can tell. You should check with your airline to be sure. Only baby formula is accepted, I think, and oral insulin or other script meds.
