It would be interesting that you were a frozen spectator in transactions ranging from throwing a coin in a homeless man's hat, to paying off a hooker in a back alley; and that your face could fly across the world on worthless junk mail or beautiful love letters. Strange.

In the 1960s Postmaster General Tony Benn tried to remove her image from the stamps. After making the suggestion to her, the palace called the PM and the idea was nixed. Benn only succeeded in replacing her face on every single stamp with a silhouette. That would suggest she does not wish to see herself off of the stamps, but as someone else said, it is out of respect for her own office rather than ego.
As for me, I would like it as a stamp collector but it's hard to say how I'd feel after several years of it.

Her Majesty does not enjoy, nor does she resent her visage being printed on currency of the Commonwealth.
To her, it is a mere formality, a tradition.
The Queen has been surrounded by, and been a part of, tradition all her life.
It does not faze her one little bit. It wouldn't faze or impress me one little bit either if I were King of England to have my face platered on stamps and coins.

I think I'd get freaked...I was a minor local celebrity some years back, and seeing my face on the news and in papers every day was great at first, but became really odd!
I'm sure that's how the queen felt 54 years ago...I think it might just be tedious, now!

I'd love it. I'd also have lots of statues built in my honour and have my picture on every billboard. I'd make Saddam look humble. Everyone would have to wear Grinner t-shirts and on Grinner day (the new Thursday) everyone would have to dress up as me and there'd be a prize for the best costume.

It would freak me out at first, but it is always the same image they use, so after a while I wouldn't notice it any more.

I'll be floating in the air.
I'll not answer your questions because I'm a Queen.
I'll not care for anybody even if you're the President!
