Right at the bottom of spine is the sacrum (which is made up of the sacral vertebrae) and then the coccyx (which is also made of bones which are normally joined together).

The lower end of the spine is called the sacral curve, made up of the sacrum (the upper bone) and the coccyx, which is the very bottom of the spine.
Common injuries are to the sacrum, as the coccyx lies deep within the gluteus maximus.
It is a rare and extremely painful to injure the coccyx, and also extremely painful to injure the sacrum, a much larger bone. Because frequently injuries in this area lead to pressure on the lower end nerves, which are in abundance in the pelvic cradle. Any swelling in this area leads to pressure, which causes extreme pain.
So the answer to your question is the coccyx.

The very bottom of the bony structure of the spine is known as the coccyx. If you are referring to the neural tissue that is contained within the spinal column, the very bottom of the spinal cord with all of the nerve roots exiting it is known as the cauda equina.

its the lumbar region, and the medical terminology is the coccyx,it is made up of five separate small bones that were joined together many thousands of years ago by a system called fuss-ion to make one rather strange bone, nerves that feed the lower abdo and limbs leave the spine just above this location and this is why people who have lower lumbar region pain also get the pain traveling down their legs into the patella, the sciatic nerves get compressed or damaged and they transmit pain into the lower limbs(sciatica)
thanks

The coccyx (Latin: os coccygis), commonly referred to as the tailbone, is the final segment of the human vertebral column, of three to five (usually four) fused vertebrae (the coccygeal vertebrae), below the sacrum. It is attached to the sacrum in a fibrocartilaginous joint, which permits limited movement between them. The term coccyx comes originally from the Greek language and means, shaped like a cuckoo's beak.
