I did in Moulin Rouge and the credits went on for at least five minutes. I was amazed at the amount of things that contribute towards the making of a film. In the case of Moulin Rouge the credits were mainly music and songs.

Sometimes I do and other times I don't...if it wasn't a film I enjoyed very much I am happy to leave sooner.

Yes, often. There are sometimes extra scenes, but often I'm interested to know what a particular piece of music is, or where the location was, or who played a particular role. It also gives some time to return to reality, particularly if it's been a really good film which has drawn you in emotionally. Often films have a really emotional scene right before the end and I feel sorry for people who obviously were so unaffected that they urgently need to use that extra 3 minutes instead of reflecting a little. Plus I'd rather sit in my seat waiting for the queue at the door to diminish than stand in it.

I nearly always do, partly because I would rather read the credits than look at the back of a strangers head as we wait for the surge to get through the door. Also, I like to see who played who in the minor supporting roles if I have recognised the voice but not the face (hard to do in some sci-fi films, I needed to see that Peter Meyhew played Chewy in The Revenge of the Sith, which he did). Also, sometimes there are a little bit more after the credits like on the Matrix Revolutions.

when lethal weapon came out on dvd i bought the film before ever watching it ,got it home and watched it credits came on and stopped it must have had it ages and once when playing i let it run on their was a clip at the end i had no idea was there ,ever since i now watch or fast forward dvds to the end incase and have got a few more clips by doing this ,what i laugh at in the cinema i don't care if place is emptying i will sit there and if there is an extra bit everyone leaving all stop turn round and watch it .
But i'm also a weird person if i think i've spotted an actor playing a small role i'll sit to find out who it was.

I do for stuff with Adam Sandley / Jim Carrey as they tend to have funny stuff at the end! Know what you mean about Moulin Rouge, fantastic amount of work went into it! :O)

I never want to stay and watch the credits at the end of the film, takes up to much drinking time, all I need to know is the director and the main stars, that you can see on the programme

I tend to hang around and watch the credits.
Often there might be something at the end .. or if i've seen someone in the film i couldn't remember the name off.. or a piece of music i liked/recognised.. thats why i hang on.

Other than that.. i tend to avoid the sudden rush to leave at the end!!

Of course, especially for Disney and Pixar movies. They tend to have outtakes for the cartoons. They can be quite funny. Disney's Cars had takes of the cars in other Disney movies like Monster Inc. and A Bug's Life. It is kind of a tradition with me, because my cousin would take me to the movies when I was small, and when she was younger the "trailors" for other movies were at the end of the movie instead of at the beginning. Hence the term "trailors".

Quite often. Sometimes to see if there are any outtakes, or sometimes to find out about a piece of music that may have been in the film.
