What did they use for cocaine in the movie scarface?

Anyone who thinks they used real coke, is stupid. When making movies they do many takes and choose the best one. If they filmed him snorting piles of real coke for 15 takes he would be dead, not mention unable to do his job.

To answer anyone's question who really wants to know, Brian never ever used baking soda because of how it clumps. He only uses Vitamin powder. That is all he uses in any drug scene. He sometimes used Vitamin B or even Vitamin D powder only because the D is much thinner then the B. He did however use B as well.

The cocaine used throughout the shooting of the film was supposed to be dried milk, but that couldn't be used because it didn't fit well when the scene was shot.

It couldn't possibly have been real coke. Everyone turns into a complete wanker after they snort coke!

That's like asking what they used for heroin and coke in Pulp Fiction.

It is illegal to show the use of real drugs, though not illegal to depict the use of drugs.
