For me playing Christmas carols is way to early in Sept. I just went to the store and they have the Halloween things out and next to it, they are putting out Christmas things. I wish we could have fun for Halloween, then have a very nice dinner on Thanksgiving then on Dec. 1 play the carols, put the Christmas stuff out. It is getting earlier and earlier every year.

Well, to begin with, my school always has a Country Christmas celebration on the first of December. It's kind of like a wake up call, Thanksgiving is over and it's Christmas time! There is always the decorating and putting up the tree, which I do sometime in the first week of December. Every year we alternate who puts the angel on top of the Christmas tree! On the 21st, my cousins, sister, and I go driving around looking at lights. Believe me, there are some houses that are CRAZY! As in, you can't even see the front lawn. On the 23rd, I go to my cousin's house(yet again), and we decorate gingerbread houses, make gingerbread men, go Christmas caroling, and then come back to the house for hot chocolate and to watch a Christmas movie. On Christmas Eve, I go to my Great Grandmother's and we have eggnog, read Christmas stories(No matter how old we get, you're never too old for a Christmas story!), eat Christmas cookies, tell stories, watch Christmas movies, and get in our pajamas and track down Santa online(Again, no matter how old we get!). On Christmas day, I wake up pretty early, go downstairs, and unwrap all of my presents. Then we meet up with everyone else in our family at my Grandmother's house, we exchange gifts, guess who drew who's name, have Christmas breakfast, and talk. After that, I go to my cousin's house to see my Grandfather(he is divorced from my Grandmother), and we exchange gifts with him, and I get to see what my Cousin's got. Afterwards, I go to my Dad's parents house, and we dance to Christmas music, let the little kids open their presents, exchange gifts, and go out for coffee. What a great question! Hope you have a Merry Christmas<3.

In my opinion, yes, otherwise by the time Christmas comes, we will not appreciate them so much. Even from Christmas to Christmas some of them sound too familiar, playing like an old record, but most of them I love, particularly the ones about Jesus birth

Christmas carols are a way of rejoicing. And they're definetly uplifting. I could sing Jingle Bells in the summer as a kid, and smile all the while.

Depends. I listen to Trans-Siberian Orchestra when the mood strikes. But, they are Symphonic Metal music. I guess it might be odd to hear more of the contemporary Christmas music in September though.

Yes, it's way too early for that!
Play 'em after Thanksgiving, I say. One holiday at a time. ;)
By the way- 103 days until Christmas! Yikes!
