I look and try and gauge the competition if its a woman and stare appreciatively if its a man and see what is the reaction of the other women in the room for the man.

"Holy Cow!" as I sneak closer & start telling a joke to someone standing closeby to attract that persons attention. As i make eye contact I will be able to tell if she is interested.. then pounce on the first opportunity I get to sweep her off her feet.. and the rest? History!

I take a full mental scan of them!
I enjoy watching the view, I'd really have to be super attracted to them to break the ice first though.

I try to get their attention by walking in their visual path and look briefly at them before looking away. If I catch them staring, I flash them a Mona Lisa smile.

I look for a minute, smile at him if he catches me looking, but then I look away quickly and that's it because I'm married and I love my husband.

well,I check the perimeter,to see if they are alone,if so then I approach slowly and say hello,& go from there,if they are dumber than dirt I take advantage of that,if they are smarter than a whip I take advantage of that as well..with conversation of course...=)*wink*

out a big 'ol hammer and hit myself in the head a few times and
