They will be used as an evidence against you - if you were a sinner that is. But if you have been a good person in life then your memories will get idealised, and will be used to construct a heaven for you to reside in for the rest of your eternity. Once the construction job completed, your memories will come to entertain you, to charm you, and to make you feel just so good special. They will assume numerous pleasing shapes and form and will enact the events of the days of you life - each event idealised, each moment romanticised and each action dignified to perfection. This will be an endless feast for your senses in a countless ever so more ravishingly invigorating ways. You will never want it to finish and you wishes will be granted. The thing will be shown to you just as you would have expected or prayed them to happen with all the goodness of you heart and wisdom of your mind. You will be thankful that you had such memory. They are blessings pure.

But if, or if you have been a sinner in your possible poor little life, then you need to watch out for your memories when you pass away, as they will go with you wherever you will go. They will not change. They will stay the same - same as you brought them into existence. They will then get realised to their minute details. They will assume forms and shapes of most accentuated categories. They will be enacted just the way you lived them; just they way you dragged them into you life and then thought that you could do away with them easily. That will then be a life for you - a life most certainly without even a simplest remote control in your hands.

And here I must add, there will be another instance in between the two mentioned above. For if you have some memories of hope, faith or love in store, however small, they will battle it out for you against all the memories of less favourable nature. In between the regions of hell and heaven then there will be a battle raging on you behalf. If you have mixed memories then good memories will make sure that there is an ultimate triumph of hope and faith and love above all other things in heaven and on earth.

It's a good question ,for anyone who believes in the possibility of some survival of the personality.

It's interesting though, many people lose their memories whilst still alive. Others have experiences of remembering 'past lives'.
I can hardly remember ,my 'own' childhood.
In fact I wouldn't consider myself to have much in common with the little boy that convention says was 'me'. Maybe his memories partly died with him.
Memories are usually linked to emotions and states of mind, so sometimes one needs to recreate those factors to remember (maybe a song ?). Emotions and states of mind are very linked to body chemistry, survival of the body etc, so without a body ,could one have those emotions, and connect to the corresponding memories ?
I guess we'll have to wait and see !

Well didn't Einstein say that electricity cannot be destroyed and since there electrical impulses in the brain then he questioned some sort of life after death.

It it wasn't him I've read it somewhere.

Some are stored in other peoples memories as well so they live on. The rest go with you, unless they are bad memories.

As time is only linear for us while we are alive as human beings, then they are probably available for you in death. It's just that you may not choose to visit them that often - like the local library! They may also be added to the Collective Unconscious.

They either go up in smoke or are transferred to the maggots eating away at you. One day a maggot will rule the world. In fact theres one now thinking he rules the world.

You take them with you, otherwise how would recognise all those you knew who died before you when you get to heaven! And they wouldnt know you either! Same as if you didnt take them with you, you wouldnt recognise those you left behind when its thier turn! Memeries stay with the soul! x
