Brilliant question!!!
My favourites are Spiderman and Wolverine but if I'm honest I think Superman could probably take them both. Sentry seems pretty powerful too, though I've only come across him in New Avengers so don't know much about him yet. Ooh yay just thought of Silver Surfer he's pretty cool and is an intergalatic hero he saves whole planets on a regular basis.
No it's too hard to choose just one.

Although I love and adore all the greatest superheroes in the world, I would have to say that the greatest Superhero ever is none other than SPIDER-MAN! Mary Jane "M.J." Watson is absolutely right; he's such a TIGER!

Strawberry cheese cake like Batman, try Wolverine, now there's a hero or anti-hero if you will, but then again in the amalgam series Batman and Wolverine blending as Dark-Claw amazing, simply amazing. In Wolverines first mission he went up against the Hulk and the Wedigo at the same time!

Superman's on top of that particular cake; he has originality, longevity, and enormous recognition factor in his favor.
But Batman, particularly in the past decade, has gained on the Man of Blue Tights, and I'd hesitate to guess who might be up there by the end of THIS decade.
Though...personally...I've always thought Silver Surfer was HOT!

Batman - The dark edge that the dark knight has makes him way more believable than strawberry shortcake heroes like superman and spiderman. Besides he has the bat mobile and a bunch of wicked gadgets doesnt he. Oh and he has a young boy side kick....
