No, all the baby's nutrients gets fed to them through the umbilical cord and goes straight into the blood stream, thereby bypassing the intestines and stomach where gases are created which eventually come out as farts and burps.

No, because they don't eat anything, the bacteria won't get a chance to cause farting.. all their food comes through diffusion via blood vessels.

They can! When they do the methaine produced builds within the mother and is emmitted in one large rectul explosion on the eight month stage. Do not, in any circumstance, be around this emmission. You will not like it.

The ingest amniotic fluid which passes through them, so they do wee. And they do the most revolting black, sticky poos when they are first born, which is the result of the amniotic fluid coming out!
