Because they can't spend all their stolen money if they're dead. So, please go die for them so they can keep partying.

It's because they know about all the depleted uranium that was dropped there (equal to 1/4 million Nagasaki bombs)...and definitely ain't going.
Most are cowards and don't like poor people. They know with our messed up economy and rising college costs, etc that the poor kids can't afford college...maybe don't have a job as they live in depressed areas with high unemployment due to lack of jobs.
They taunt the American dream and flaunt it and say the lie that we all can have it..this arouses desires for a better life. So with few options to have that life (other than crime), people fail easy prey to the highly trained military recruiters who give them half truths and have them sign so many papers they don't know what they're signing away.
These troops in Iraq mostly joined for college, etc. Some were wanting to defend America after 9-11 and didn't know lies were being used.
These rich b-st-rds who won't go themselves and who benefit financially from oil and war, etc hate the poor (and middle class too)..they feel superior. It makes them mad that the poor might occasionally need the help of social programs, etc
Since they value primarily money, they gain their self worth from the fact that they are rich..not wanting to realize they maybe were born into it or got it hurting others or were backstabbers or dishonest they delude themselves and become prideful , so that they attribute their wealth (power) to themselves.
They think we are self made men..if they can do it so should we.if we don't, we are beneath them and that is why their hearts turn stoney. They cannot put themselves in the shoes of those in other classes. People like Bush have never been poor. They have no clue of the struggles the average person has.
Consequently, because they don't care if the less fortunate suffer as they attribute this all the the person and not to circumstances, etc, the first place they cut money to pay for the immoral costs of this war is from social programs and veterans benefits..what does that tell you!
This December they cut 50 BILLION from all types of programs from school, school lunches, housing, education, vets benefits, etc and then turned around and gave 70 BILLION in tax cuts to the rich..the program cuts to the needy were only to offset their upcoming tax cuts, so they wouldn't look as bad as they could say it wasn't 70 billion, it was only 20 billion in order to pay the staggering war costs..
They cannot identify with the life and struggles of the average person and hence have no problems not only with having the poor give their kids to war, but also pay for it through social program cuts..
Make it mandatory that all draft age people do equal combat in service to their country (not cushy Dubya type military service) and it will make your head spin how quick the war would be over and none gotten into for trumped up reasons.

Look at the people to whom you are referring. Neither George W. (the Shrub) Bush nor his buddy Dickless Cheney had the courage or patriotism to go to Vietnam.
I believe that The Shrub will move to institute a draft before he leaves office. It will be required as we move into Iran. If that happens, two proposals:
1. The draft must be gender nuetral in all ways.
2. The draft age should be between 40 and 60. After all, it is those of us in that age range who elected scum like The Scum and Dickless so we should fight their simple minded wars.

because most of us are already, and the ones that aren't are the mothers with little children left behind, or older people who can't go, or are trying to preserve some sanity here amidst you confused, mislead, evil, wrong people who actually have the nerve to call yourselves American's!!!

Because they feel their own blood is more precious than your blood! Basically it means that they don't really love you and they think that you're enough of a fool that you will do as you're told in the name of america, liberty, and freedom.
