i feel sad for anyone to put down any form of music. everyone gravitates to a sound that is pleasing to their ear.....which of course their is an opposite sound which is completely annoying.

any opinion that doesn't show appreciation for the talent of the musicians just shows how young, naive, and close-minded the individual is......which shows a window to the soul....not open to others taste in music equates not open to others (pick one): religion, sexual orientation, politics, race.....

No. I like heavy metal. Don't care who knows. If we all liked the same things, the world would be a boring place.

No, cause ugly people aren't ashamed to go out, fake boob women aren't either.
Why should a metal fan be?

No way like what you want to, do what you want to do. Heavy metal is cool.

Why should they be? Listening to what they like is showing they don't conform to everyone else's "rules". I like to listen to Frank Zappa, and if someone doesn't like it, I'll send them a card on national "Get screwed day".
