I would like to inform you that your homepage and search page has been hijacked by the safetyhomepage.com.

This is highly dangerous spyware.

Usually it may log keyboard activity of the user and take snapshots of the system. It uses stealth installation and its removal is very difficult.

Its Symptoms:-

Fake message claiming that the computer is infected. Usually displaying a yellow, red or black warning triangle with an exclamation mark inside it. Sample messages are: "System Alert: Spyware Detected", "Your computer is infected - Critical System Error".

Some versions of Zlob Trojan add these files to the SYSTEM folder: dcomcfg.exe, regperf.exe, simpole.tlb, stdole3.tlb, atmclk.exe, ixt*.dll, vtsqn.dll, ishost.exe, ismon.exe, isnotify.exe, issearch.exe, thiselt.exe, isamonitor.exe, pmsngr.exe.

Homepage may become hijacked to 'about:blank'.

If it is the homepage, go to tools, in IE and then Internet options, set the home page to what page you want it to open to. If you are still getting ad ware. Go to http://www.trendmicro.com/en/home/us/home.htm and get their free on line scan for viruses and also do the one for spy ware. Also make sure that your Norton and ad-aware has got all it's upgrades and it not shut off. Good luck!...Also, you may want to go get the newest IE7, It has a lot of new features on it that are nice.

Ouch. YOu use Internet explorer? That's your problem. IE gets hijacked easily. Check out www.bleepingcomputer.com, do a search of that page in the forums section. Hopefully you'll find someone who had the same problem. good luck.

oh, start using firefox, it's an excellent browser, less prone to hijacks and spyware.

This application is a rogue security tool, a program that claims to detect and remove or disable spyware, viruses or other Internet threats.

in reality, safetyhomepage.com hijacker is a software application that takes control of your browser's settings. Usually it changes your home page and redirects it to some unknown site or modifies your search settings. It prevents you from changing back your browser's settings. An infected browser usually operates much slower

Download, install and scan using SPYNOMORE. This will list out the browser hijacker files and registry entries related to www.safetyhomepage.com/net. To remove you need to purchase the software. If not, you list out the entries and remove it manually from the system. Once removed, download and install WINPATROL to protect your browser home page or start using alternate browsers like firefox or opera.

Make sure all your scanners are updated and the latest version. Restart your PC while tapping the "F8" key, this will put it in safe mode. Then scan with all your applications again.
From now on use Firefox, it will help with future problems. But in the meantime you have to fix Insecure Exploder.

hi, there are some virus with your IE browser, and the virus has hacked your IE browser.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:

You computer is also infected with Zlob Trojan, so it's a bit more serious than just a homepage hijack. I suggest you scan your PC with SpyNoMore.
