Here in ITALY if you own a TV you have to pay yearly taxes. Then if you want SKY or cable it costs extra.
Is this normal?

I'm also in the U.S. and in our state, there's no such thing as a tv tax. How does the government KNOW that you have a tv? Or if you've gotten rid of it? Do you have television police?

yes, in spore u have to pay a mthly fee to watch cable. the more channels subscribed, the more u have to pay.
