There are lots of strange things that happen especially when you're getting close to your due date. It depends what it is and whether you or the baby are feelign well or not.
Get advise from your midwife or ring your doctors surgery. If you get no joy ring the delivery unit at your local hospital and speak to a duty midwife.

You should have a number on your appointment card in your maternity notes probably for the maternity ward or delivery suite. Give them a ring and there,ll be a midwife for you to talk to. Explain whats happenin and they,ll tell you wether you need to go in and be seen or not. Don,t be scared that,s what they,re there for Good luck anyway and i hope everythin goes well for you.

I am not a midwive but i work on a Neonatal Unit and if i had a pound for every mum that said 'if only i had rang the hospital' then i would be rich, please ring your maternity Unit and ask for advice. They deal with phone calls all the time and dont mind at all, Good luck xx

Ring your GP surgery immediately! They will give you the number of the midwife. Or call the hospital you're due to give birth in. Quick, do it NOW instead of wasting time on the computer.

Go to the hospital for a check up... or call them! There should be a midwife or a member of teh nursing unit able to assist you.

Do you not have a prenatal caregiver who you can call with your questions?
Or what about calling the hospital you plan to deliver at?
Or does your community have an "ask a nurse" phone line?
