Politicians are alway politicians at the most diplomatic and never be nationalists, they are opportunistic lot their only interest is vote bank. No wonder Mrs. Sonia remained absent! Even the National respect and National honour is viewed on the basis of idelogical grounds and party percepectives!

No, not at all, she being an Indian citizen, has all the rights of her beliefs and she has not disrespected to the country by absenting herself from singing Vande Mataram.
Vanda Mataram is an out-dated song, in which fools sings that we are still only 7 crore people.....
We were 7 crore people in 1906, but not now and in fact now we are 150 Crore people.

VANDE MATARAM-song w/c r leaders sang while fighting for independence.Vande Mataram is nothing to do with hindus or muslims or any other religion,its al to do with INDIA.if she wld hav sang it,she wld hav inculcated a feeling tht the song is 4 INDIA nt for or against any particular religion.
al i can say is tht its a bad world nd dirty politics.

Talking about out of date and only fools sing that song is as much credible as expecting all muslims to pray five times a day! Bit out of date not to mention grossly impractical too! How do you feel about that Mustaque? With the passage of time statistics change or did it come as a surprise to you?

she always dis respected india as a foreigner , she will always be known for her clever politics. respect and disrespect is not in her dictionary . by not singing vandematarm she goes with the muslim community and gave them her silent aproval in their support.
