You sure do have quite a few questions relating to physics problems... I am sure there are people here that are willing to answer them, but please try getting a tutor.
It's not just because I want you to stop asking these questions, but I think it would be beneficial for yourself if you learned how to find your way through such equations. It's much more rewarding to know that we can solve things on our own without somebody there to guide us and hold our hand all the way through.

This question csn be solved if it is starting from rest.
now f=0.5Kgf/100kg so net f=0.5/100*massof train
mass of train=10^6 so f=0.5*10^4 or 5*10^3
now p=E/t or p=F*dx/dt or p=F*v
v=36km/hr=10km/sec
so p=5000*10 =5*10^4w=50kw
I think ans is wrong and if I am wrong please send an solution with the help of e-mail
My e-mail id is mahaveersoganiappu@yahoo.com

Insufficient Data to Solve!!!
know wonder,---- This is somewhat of a trick Question
It doesn't really take much to solve it if all the information where there ----- The trick is to SEE the CONVERSION of the Units that are there , that's what this problem is trying to strengthen in YOUR minds capabilities. Once converted it is a fairly easy question.
Now get to School!!!

If speed is constant, then the train won't accelerate. Since frictional force is given, you need to accelerate to overcome this friction if you want to maintain constant velocity. How much is that acceleration?
Data insufficient.
