no it is not true. A baby born in its 8th month has a good chance of survival. Obviously the little one will need to be in a hospital where it will have the best medical care

That's waaay wrong!
A baby can live as early as 24 weeks into the pregnancy!
That's why when a person chooses to kill their baby from 24 weeks on it's super super super super disgusting, wrong, murderous, evil and stupid and selfish!!! Even before that mark it's these things, too, but it's perposterous to know that they still go through with the murder when that child can survive outside the womb!
My second child was born 8 months along. She's fine and normal and doing just great!

im a pediatrician and things well lets take a look:a baby in the 8th month has well can survive moe than the 6th and 7th month but wen a baby is born in the 8th month it has a more chance of abnormalities because there are still catch up dev. in that month but a baby in the 7th month has less chance of abnormalities coz thats wen its pretty like rest for the baby but a baby in the 8th month has more chance of surviving than the 7th month baby hey i think it may be confusing but analyze u'll see

21+ weeks=0% chance
22 weeks= 0-10% chance
23 weeks=10-40 % chance
24 weeks=40-70% chance
25 weeks= 50-80 % chance
26 weeks=80-90% chance
27 weeks=90% chance
30 weeks->95% chance
34 weeks=>98% chance
Babies born at 21 weeks gestation are usually not resesitated because the chances of them living are so low. I got this information from www.storknet.net week 23.

No my nephew is living proof they can
20 weeks, slight chance
22 weeks, baby receives the intensive care
24 weeks, a possibility of survival.
*each wk the baby is in the womb, the more the chance that the baby will survive outside of the womb.*

I don't get the question but I think your asking if the baby was a premie...MY nepew was born at 7 months and he's great. He's now 5 and has almost no health problems...none to speak of anyway

No its not necessarily so - some babies born at 20 weeks have been known to survive (although not many at that age) at 35 weeks it would be a premie baby but it doesnt mean it is going to die.

no-my daughter was born at 31 weeks at did just fine. she was only 4 pounds but didnt need to be put on a breathing machine or be put in an incubator. she was only kept in the NICU for two days to make sure she was eating ok and then they let her go home.
today she is a happy,lively 4 year old and so busy i can hardly keep up with her!!!
