Unfortunately, due to yet another unwelcome intervention by the EU bureaucrats, left-handed staplers are no longer manufactured or available through normal retail channels.

In short, they contravene directive ABC/ 01 / 99 / 2006-14 / Manufacturing / CE, which set about standardising staples as a response to the increasing number of accidents resulting from office workers putting right-hand staples in left-hand staplers and vice-versa

Since their use is not yet totally banned - although I do understand that they are currently debating the details of an amnesty period where you'll be able to hand in said staplers at your local Police Station without fear of reprisals - you'll not be able to purchase one other than through private deals. Might I suggest eBay ?

Regards

Find someone who is left handed give them a stapler and ask the person if they are for sale. If they are, and you buy them, you have bought a left handed stapler. There you are it's easy.

I've just had a good laugh at the answers you've received so far but just in case you do have a serious need I suggest you contact your local education authority for advice because they can locate all sorts of left-handed stuff. E J Arnold spring to mind. (Sorry for being a probable gullible walk-over - it stems from the Libran elements in my horoscope).

I think any good stationery shop will sell left-landed stapliers. The really tricky bit is finding the left-handed staple refills for them!
