What is your favorite Patrick Swayze movie?

It is a rarity - - - especially these days - - - an actual story wit a biggining a middle and an end, not a jumble of clihes & retreated dance bits which most 'modern dance movies' tend to be. The cast simply clicked, it is most likely Patrick Swayze's best movie, the one that will stay on a top list - - - and the Jennifer Grey simply worked and she worked because she was not 'drop dead gorgeous.' Nowadays even if Monique was cast in the lead, she would be forced to be buffed to within an inch of her life. And the supporting cast, gadds Jerry Orbach we miss you -- -- he was an anchor, a rock, along with the rest of the cast. Dirty Dancing is simply one of those perfect movies where everything clicked, fell into place - - - and the ending was atrue pay off not just a send off to the credits - - - terrific film. Peace....

This movie is such a classic! It put Patrick Swayze on the map. I watched it over and over. His other great movie Road House was the best movie back in the 80's, it played like a million times on TBS and TNT... LOL

I loved him in that film. I just wanted to be Frances Houseman so bad!
I also liked Patrick Swayze in The Outsiders, though I loved Matt Dillon in that.

I loved dirty dancing Patrick Swazye is one of the few hot old guys I also loved Point Break not just cause of Swaze but because I am totally in love with Keanu Reeves

i always like the fact that in real life swayze and grey didn't like each other, must have been entertaining to watch them try to act like they were in love. =)

It's a great movie! "Nobody puts Baby in the corner!" LOL! I also like Red Dawn!

I don't like the movie, but I like the songs 'Hungry Eyes' and 'She's Like The Wind' though.
