In australia i would have to say the latest political campaign in Queensland. Also it pisses me when our government says "think yourself lucky we arent paying $2 a litre for petrol" they dont pay for their petrol we do then they write it off in tax reductions go figure.

In the states, I think giving government grants to someone so they can study how a frog lives or some other stupid study that is so lame, is a waste. I also think the fact that the white house is decorated with hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of decorations at christmas time, that is not open to the public, is a waste of money since we have no heath care system here!!!!!

We do the same, but this war is a big waste of taxpayers money and lives lost!
Perhaps the biggest waste was the Savings and Loan Scandal which the taxpayers had to fork up 2.1 TRILLION dollars! Every male in the Bush family was involved directly in this waste of taxpayers money that almost brought this country to it's knee's!

goverments now adays have to many committees ,one for this and one for that ,and then one to figure out what the hell they needed a committee to begin with,its a waste of OUR hard earned money,but i feel the worst is the pensions for the retired,politians,who the hell gets 100,000 thousand for life in an ordinary job.you certainly dont get rewarded in real life for sticking it to the lil guy ,i say give em just enough to live on ,same as they do to us

Federal and state taxation, is the biggest wast of every ones money. I'm in favor of a strait line, across the board one payout yearly of 12% and that's it.

I agree with TIMOTHY DL. In the US It is very hard to know where to start. One way I heard of was using tax money to do a study on how bees or was it worms have sex. WHO CARES. There was no point in that study.
