I will miss him. F1 wouldnt be exciting without him.

Or, would it be more exciting without this superhuman? The others are all equal. We would watch the fights of the equal drivers.

it's really a big lose for formula 1 and i 'm gonna miss him too
I Don't think that I'll miss him because he is only a great champion but I'll miss him because he is real a sport man
for example :Alonso Is A champion too(I 'm sure from that even though I'm Schumi's Fan)But he doesn't have the respect or the polite of the real Sport Man Like Schumi :
his bad news are every where on web sites and Formula 1 T.v Shows.
so we r gonna Miss SCHUMI cause he is a real sport champion man like Jackie and Mika And Senna...

it is good to see that new faces will emerge as a champion....I had no doubt since 2001 that Alonso is something....

but i do think that all drivers have more or less the same capabilities....given the right car...i think everybody can do what Mika, Jacques and past champion did but i dont think any person can do another Schumi....

Ferrari is not what it was supposed to be today back then...around 10 years ago...schumi build up the team.....good teamwork.....good people....

nowadays F1 really rely on cars....so anybody can do another Jacques or Mika (they had a good car when they won the Championship).....so I think we'll miss him...

p/s...dont know who to support next season....(sigh)

Well, being a M. S. fan I think it's going to boring at first, the same way basketball wasn't the same after Jordan retired, the first time at least.
But there are plenty of very good pilots in good cars, and that's going to be hot, the fight for the leadership.

Definitely we will miss him for sure. But F1 will take a new form after the end of this era( Michael era). We will see all new series of the race.

Without him in it, it'll be 'fairer' to the other racers. But he brings more to the sport. He's not just another racer competing for the title but he's an icon in the sport. When people think of F1 they think of Micheal Schumi, when people think of basketball they think of Jordan, when they think of tennis they think of Agassi and when they think of football they think about Manchester United :)

It will be more exciting, just like the last few rounds where he has not been his best. It's definitely the right time for him to retire, he's losing his touch.

All sports have superstars, they excell and we are amazed and maybe a bit jealous at their ability. It will be interesting to see who will rise to to top. No matter what the car if they can drive they can drive anything
