The most popular guy in town: the back up QB.

Bledsoe is light years ahead of Romo. Don't let a couple of preseason games fool you. Bledsoe was injured (back) in the second quarter and it showed.

The Cowboys line is still weak, as is their secondary. No amount of "tweaks" are going to cover for a weak OL or DB's. The WR's are actually a strong point, including Owens, but the more damage Bledsoe takes, and the more that the line cannot open holes for the running game, the easier it will be for opposing teams to stop the Dallas WR's.

Romo has not thrown a single pass in a game that counts in his three seasons. HOF QB Steve Young, four years into the system and with previous success, was 5-5 his first year as THE MAN in SF. Troy Aikman was 0-11 as a rookie, and 7-18 total over his first two years. The point is that Romo is not Tom Brady. He is not going to come off the bench and lead Dallas to a Super Bowl win.

Yes, Bledsoe's days are numbered as he is an aging, immobile QB behind a sub par OL (see Brett Favre), but Romo isn't the answer.

l don't know but l did kind of worry about Drew. l mean Romo played almost all of the Pre-season and Drew watched. Not smart and neither was Drew's comments about not worrying about his spot of starting QB like Romo didn't even exist. Just my opinion but, yes Dallas needs a QB that can get the job done and l don't think Romo or Drew can do that.

Good comparision. Bledson has proven time and time again he is not a starting QB in the NFL...at best he's a back up. Big-D should go after a franchise QB as it has in the past...with Stallbach and of course Troy Aikman. I couldn't believe what I watched this past weekend. Dallas has many of the piece in place but they need a QB to lead them...from what I see this is the only missing piece that is very serious...everything else can be fixed or tweaked

Hell no! Drew still has some game in that arm. He needs better protection from the o-line. This is not the moment for a QB controversy in Dallas.

This is when I miss Quincy Carter. He wasn't the best, but he could have been really good with the right coaching.

I'll cry for Madonna before I even feel sorry for the Cowboys.
