Plenty of people condemn Zionism, as well as Islam. Correctly, in my book. Just like others criticise Christianity.

Assuming you mean 'Zionism,' oddly enough the same answer applies to both Islamism and Zionism, most people don't understand either one. People see what is on the News and the stereotypes available in Movies and Television and rarely look beyond those images. Since Television & Movies rarely show the fanatical Zionist or the compasionate Muslim few people are aware either of them exist. Peace....

In the US, the media has emphasized the good aspects of Zionism -- the prosperous nation of Israel that has resulted, and the bad parts of Islamism -- murderous fanatics and the promise of 78 virgins.
I agree with others here that all "isms" have an extreme and dark side.

first thing first . it should be Zionism and it means movement which led to formation of Israel, there is no comparison because of Islam is religion and Zionism was movement. anyways its human nature to condemn whatever harms them for example bird flu< less tourism , less sell of meat when bird flu was threat but as it is now over so economy is same again and same goes for Islam < particularly extremist > if they spread the Islam the way it is no one will condemn it but if Muslims tend to keep up terrorism every1 will condemn it so best thing to do is show different face of Islam which is real one and is of love and sharing

people tend to criticise what they don't know about, and most people are completely ignorant about Islam, and sionism, they are scared and so criticise. I think that last night was the first time i had even heard the term sionism.
