With the old Smackdown games you could use your stables for interferance but I cannot figure out a need for stables in the current game

It's purely for Tag team matches. This, I think is better than say Raw 2, because with up to 5 people in a stable, you can mix-and-match so you don't have to have the same duo/trio in a match

I noticed that to. There is just no point to create a stable whatsoever unless you just wanna use them in an online thing or something. Maybe SvR 2007 will have something.

Just another flaw in the game I guess. Maybe the next SM vs RAW game will have it fixed
