a data cable allows you to transfer data at greater speeds than blue tooth or infrared. and from my experience, the phone's PC software works best with data cable. although, blue tooth can also be a good option but only to synchronize contacts or for transferring small files.

It gives very fast data transfer so you can earn from time .USB 2.0 gives 480mbits/second speed and Usb1.1 the old version is 12 mbit/second so these speeds are very good of course the new one is very very good.
