Ya know? Wheny your computer wants to fart on you and says it needs to close a program, and it gives you the option of sending an error report...does anyone do it? I always send them, in hopes that it will help Microsoft better their products.

I do all of the time, and with Vista this is how they are getting it ready; by our feedback on issues we have.

I even get answers and often the tell of new updates to fix the issue I had that I needed to send the original message to them over.

I like feeling like they finally are listening. After all how many Windows versions and years has it taken for them to do so?

I need to work on my communication Mr. can't spell? "Wheny" when did that become a word in the dictionary? Hmm they must have a new hillbilly version out so when the computer takes a "fart" on you. Let me know where I can buy that at okay. Remember I am the one that you said YOU WHITE PEOPLE paid my way through college (unfortunately for you-not true). And you make no money so how can you own a computer? Did you apply for Social Security and they felt bad and threw in a computer for free?! BY THE WAY THAT WAS A JOKE!!!!!!!!!

i did, then suddenly almost everyday until now, these survey guys from some part of the world is taking surveys about our computers, how many, what type of applications do we use, that sort of things. and it really gives me the creeps that they know our phone number. they might even know where we live! i don't really know if microsoft's service actually improved but i still get the same problems, that's just depressing.

I do it all the time, but then all the software on my computers is 100 % legal, so I have nothing to hide. I also feel it helps them fix problems, so I am really helping myself in the long run.

I did it once a few months ago, but it doesn't seem like they've fixed the problem.
I know, maybe they haven't had enough time or whatever, but I don't think those error reports really do anything.

i do sometimes, and i think it does help, specially if alot of people sent the same error over and over so they'll know it's a major one, not just a minor....
