yes i think god wanted us to stay virgins so we would devote ourselves to that person, sex is futile unless you love some one, people shouldn't waste there virginity on some one who doesn't deserve it

The Bible says, ' Marriage is sacred ' and sex is God given gift to a married couple. Otherwise it is adultery and fornication. Virginity is lost when you indulge in sex. Virgin at marriage is a very Biblical and Christian idea. Your value in your husband's eyes goes up if you are a virgin and your husband is a principled guy following Biblical principles. Some may lose their virginity due to extreme sports etc, but that doesn't matter. If your husband knows that fact, its ok. According to Bible, virginity is good and preferable.

No, its not important anymore. It is still special but not important. Most everybody that gets married these days has already had sex, multiple times. If its not saved for your life mate then its not important.

My understanding is that girls would take their first time more seriously because it shows. How important it is depends on the individual's thinking, upbringing and culture.

yes, because it's something special that you should only give to your future spouse. ^_^ i mean, likewise, it feels better to know also that that someone has never given it to anyone but only you.
