I was a big football fan until betting got so heavy on the game. Rules changes, politics and games thrown by the refs just disgusted me. I quit watching it. Watched part of a Monday night game last night tween the Giants and Colts. Gotta wonder. The penalties were heavy against the Giants. The interception which sealed the game was nowhere near the reciever. That was just a mild thing. Many games were obviously thrown by refs when I quit watching. I just couldn't take it no more. Same with Boxing. I was a big boxing fan but would watch one of King's boxers get destroyed but win on points ???? Not any point watching games that are rigged. It's just frustrating. Even when football aint rigged, if there's a big play you can count on a ref wanting in on the spot light and flagging it. The concept of parity decreased my interest. What also decreased it was when they expanded the playoffs to half the leauge. Kind of takes alot of the interest out of the reguler season. Teams that get lucky in the playoffs can go an amazingly long way. All they have to do is finish a little above .500 and thier in the playoffs. Why play hard all season long and risk injuries when you just have to get into the playoffs and then play hard against teams that wore themselves out collecting really good win loss totals.
When they convince the refs that they are not a team or on one of the teams. Clean up the betting and games being thrown. Drop the playoffs back down to 4 teams and change the rules so that the QB can't wear a dress no more and so that any big play doesn't mean that somebody had to have comited an infraction. THEN I'll go back to watching football.

I actually like football alot more than baseball.. I'm from Texas though and football is only topped by god herr in the lonestar My team is the COWBOYS of course and I'm ecstatic that football is finely back
