dron acharya places a clay bird on a tree and asks the brothers that they need to pierce through the bird's eye. He askes each brother what do you see and each replies, i see the whole tree and the bird. Only Arjun replies, I see my target, the eye.

Wasn't Arjun the better archeror? He was also very morally concerned. Krishna had to persuade him that he had to battle his cousins because it was more ethical than the suffering of the kingdom and its people.

Yes to focus, concentration, and archery skill. But more deeply because he was the perfect disciple. Arjuna is the exemplar of the disciple in the Guru-disciple relationship. He was 100% loyal to his Master, the Lord Krishna. He recognises Krishna as an Avatar and surrenders his will to God's as manifest to him through Krishnaji. He wrestles with his conscience because he does not want to slay his relatives, but Krishna helps him to see that he is a righteous warrior (Kshatriya) acting in harmony with God's will.
