Well over 2000. 2000 was the last approximate count. They're all over the place. Ranges from dictionaries of many languages through cookbooks to SF&F, and a great many Sherlock Holmes stories. We are looking for a house with 1 more bedroom than we need so we can have a library. No such thing as too many books.

I own a lot of books, approx 150, all on different things that I want to read about, maybe 2 chick books and a lot of National Geographic. I have some manuals for my mp3 player and my cell phone but only a few books that briefly touch on anything electronic.

No electronic books (hard to read in bed)!

About 450 books, including books from youth, classics, loads of thrillers and bargains from Oxfam and other charity shops (before they got wise to the market and upped the prices)!

Have many will ead and read, some I just like keeping, because of what they are/stroy/time I read/memory/nostagia like.I get a warm glow just looking at them (this may possibly be a bit sad, I don;t do that often).

Of course I also have the usual Dictionary presented when leaving primary school etc.

I have made an effort to get my duaghter to read books (not jsut watch the films)!

Books enanle yu to use your imagination, and lose yourself, rather than being forced into seeing one persons condesnsed interpretation on screen, with characters excluded etc (although there are many clasic films of books), and it does help to get people into reading.

Books, there great they are!

Last count 1132. I'm not joking either! Half were my mother;'s and i kept them and the other half ... Bought in book shops, Amazon, boot sales etc. I'm lnown as book worm to family and friends.

E Books you asked? Well i got a few of those too but it was while i was at university and for studying purpose! I prefer what i regard as real books really! And before anyone should ask ... Read them all and sill enjoy reading them, always will. Having said that ... I was in a brilliant book shop on Saturday and bought another 6 (Not included in my numbers) because ... Neither read yet nor put away!
