I just went to the doctor and he said I'm anemic so that could be 1 reason why mine are heavy. I'm having a pelvic ultrasound done next week to see why my uterus is enlarged also. Just thought I 'd see who out there has this problem and why.

If you can't be grown up enough to give me a grown up answer, don't bother answering just to rack up points. You're waisting my time!

my periods have always been very heavy ... lasting 7 to 9 days and a very heavy flow. all women are different ...for some that is just the way it is (bla!).

mine got worse after i had my tubal ligation about 16 years ago. i was recently diagnosed with complex ovarian cysts as well as fibroid tumors in the uterus. so now i know the reason why ... the question is what to do about it.

i've had to have the pelvic ultrasound done 3 times in the last 6 months ...ugh!

good luck ... i will be thinking of you and praying that it's something very simple and treatable.take care of you.

I have really heavy periods, bad cramping, and major moodyness. I bleed super bad. I went to the docter, they put me on birth control.

Not usually they are not, but for the past couple of months they have been, maybe I need to see the doctor as well.
