while i do appreciate yalls responses my mother does not know were i am i dont think she wants to know this all started when i told her that i had a certain addiction to a very bad drug she just left me high and dry and that was the last time i saw her should i waste my time or should i just let it go? very confussed hey if anythingis spelt wrong please forgive me no spell check

I would say, let it go. Remember, it was SHE that left you, not the opposite. You needed help, andshe turned her back on you. Whatever was it, let her go.
You need to think now about your own family. If you don't have one, then your number one priority should be to get one, to find the right person, and to have your own daughter, or even two. Concentrate on thinking about yourself and your future.

I'm a recovering addict and I suggest you get help. Your mother is doing the right thing. I know you might not understand this now, how she can turn her back on you but it's the best for you. My parents kicked me out of there home for drugs and my behavior. I have been doing drugs since I was 13. At 22 I was homeless, jobless, and addicted. Still I wouldn't give up my drugs, and that lead me to becoming a prostitute. I had to support my habit and after many years I hit that rock bottom head first. I wanted help and seeked that help. I go to N/A meetings and work the 12-steps. It has changed my life and as for my family....they are back in my life..I actually live with them again..and get this...they trust me again..I have a key to the house. Them throwing me out was the best thing they ever done. I didn't realize that at first, but now after being clean for over a year, I DO!! Try this website below...it has N/A meetings...if you want your mother back....you have to get yourself back first....trust me!

i understand how you feel, iv'e been threw the same thing, along with the drug use, that was in the past, if your gonna make a fresh start and give yourself another chance, why not her? After all you will only have 1 mother, appreiciate her while she's her

if you desire a relationship w/ your mother, then contact her. if you had a drug problem, maybe she just couldnt deal w/ it- some people just cant deal w/ some things... but, if you love her & want her in your life then find her. prepare yourself in case she doesnt want a relationship- although she will probably be happy to have you back in her life.
