use the google translation page. enter the url you want to visit in the translate this web page box and choose english to english.

The firewall is on your computer, if you are at a school or college then they'll have a hardware firewall. All internet connections go via the firewall, so sorry no there isn't a website you can goto to bypass it.

Try using the Babelfish translator on www.altavista.com. Just use the translate web page option and translate from any language to english.

All pages open inside the translator so your computer and firewall think you are still looking at www.altavista.com

the translation method i have not tried before. but you can look for tunneling software to bypass the firewall. however, bypassing firewall can be easily detected by administrators. Use it at your own risk.

Try typing your username into yahoo/google and click on the link there (your firewall will think your still searching)

My company uses Smoohwall to block access to sites they deem inappropriate. I use http:/www.browseatwork.net to bypass it.
