Am planning a holiday in Udaipur and want to know if the lakes are dry like last year or if the monsoon rains have filled them up? Is it worth visiting Udaipur in the coming month?

Fateh Sagar lake is always filled with the water. The water level goes up and down on account of monsoon. However, this year Udaipur received sufficient rain water and the lake is full.
I suggest you visit during Dussehra season.

Yes there is water and boating is going on as usual. But this year the level is somewhat less due to inadequet rains. Yes by middle of October more rain will be ther and by end of that moth it will be green everywhere and flowers blooming.

Its raining heavily in Rajasthan now. its floods everywhere so in the coming month u can visit rajasthan and the lakes will be full with water. the whole of rajasthan will be fine green this year. enjoy

After the recent flooding in Rajhastan, the lake is full to the brim. All Lakes are full.

i was there with my family there on aug22 there was water in all lakes of udaipur .very nice place to travel want more detail contact me.

yes... water leel is very high in all lakes...speialy in fateh sagar...
you will have good time as greenry is at peak.
right now its humid but you can plan in octuber
