Wear an A-lined skirt and a lovely tunic that sets off the color of your eyes to draw the viewer's eye up and to your face! Or an empire waist (high waist) dress with glittery jewelry to do the same. Be sure to wear lots of eye make-up, and heels to set off your legs.

Wide leg pants and a wait length jacket.
You may be tempted to wear a tunic or other Long top or jacket, but that is really going to add weight and bulk to your hips and I know that you don't want that. A waist length jacket will give you a clean line, making your waist a little less defined, making your hips look less wide.

i think a dress, something tighter around the top to flatter your waist line and then something very a line to not emphasis the hip area.
stay away from skirts and tops and anything with pleats.
most importantly wear something your comfortable in
