it is mostly Afrikaners who have emigrated and now sit and degrade the country from far away and act very racist. I know many Afrikaners who are nice people and regret the actions of their parents, grandparents and great grandparents. They are actually very proud new South Africans now.
Those who do not like a free and equal South Africa can always leave the country, they will soon find out that the other side is not as easy, e.g. no cheap maid and gardener to do your work for you, etc

You obviously have not got a very good idea of what goes on in South Africa. How can anyone forget apartheid if you are reminded of it every day. Whenever anything goes wrong it is blamed on apartheid or the former white regime. When youngsters apply for work they get told that previously disadvantaged get preference. If Someone of the democratically elected government gets caught for fraud etc- blame apartheid. I for one is so fed-up of it. Apartheid will never be gone as long as we are not allowed to forget it. Everybody brings it up every now and then. Apartheid has become the excuse for many ppeople's wrongfull actions.

Do Afrikaners still act that way? With that same sense of entitlement that oppressed a majority of the country because the Bible said it was okay?
Old habits die hard, I guess. But don't worry, they're out numbered now.
Jorge S - You are incorrect. It is a lot easier over here. The money actually buys something.

Because they are still being raised with the past generations ignorance and intolerance. Often people take the opinions of their parents...very sad.
