I don't believe we should have started the war in the first place. It was ill conceived, had nothing to do with 9/11, and has cost many, many lives, not to mention skyrocketed the national debt. I'm not "tired" of the war. I think it is a travesty. Bush got us into this mess. He and his crones need to work on finding a way out that includes some respect and concern for the devastation wrought tin o Iraq. And yes, much more attention and money should be spent on internal issues and problems. We suck at that this world police, single super power role!

Yes and No. Always tired of war, but we cannot stop without winning. In the case of Muslim extremist's that would only encourage them to greater efforts. But I also believe that we could be spending more on domestic issues, such as healthcare. As far as Welfare, sorry most just need to get a job, and there are plenty out there. As far a the Hollywood crowd, if they want more done for the poor, tell them to build a million dollar home instead of a ten million dollar one and give the other nine to Habitat for Humanity.

War is a tragedy for mankind. People should learn to tolerate each others beliefs. We are not all the same and nor will we ever be. If these religious groups that are blowing up people succeed and rid the earth of every other religion then they will divide among themselves and start again, only this time killing each other. I think they should just pull their heads in and let the world live in peace.

I think the military should have its hands untied, and be able to properly fight this war. There is too much emphasis on protecting the civilian and not enough on killing the enemy. With our technology, we could have won this war a couple of years ago, but the bleeding hearts can't seem to understand that "war is Hell" and innocent people will die. I think the military should be able to unleash the full power of its arsenal, and completely wipe out anyone who even remotely acts suspicious.
